Adding Adsense to our forum

Hey
We just converted our forum from phpbb to vbulleting. All went great.
Now i am trying to add adsense. I also would love to be able to have adwords (the links in a keyword that are highlighted). What is the easiest way to integrate adsense and adwords? I call them adwords because i dont know what its called. Here is what i like to do
1. show horizontal banners on the top of the forum right of our logo on ALL pages.
2. have vertical banners on all pages on the far right of the forum
3. have keywords that act like advertisements when they are clicked

You can use the ad location templates.

ACP --> Styles & Templates --> Edit Templates (GO) --> Ad Location Templates

I think you mean in text advertising. The most popular are vibrant media, but you need at least 500pvpm for them. If your site is still small, I suggest Kontera: http://www.kontera.com/

Ok i just need a bit more help.
I am trying toi add just the adsense banner on top right for now next to the logo. I followed jase2's instruction but can not find the "ad location templates". I have adsense set up and have the code plug in for the banner. Where do i paste this code? Can someone point me in the right direction?
