replace username in forumlist

Hi,

I can't figure out what hooks to use or in what files to look to do this. I want to replace the username with a custom field in the lastpostinfo of the forum list and also in the threadlist.

nobody? I'm just looking for the place where the username is read from the 'thread' table. It's a little confusing with all the different files and caching stuff.
