Merging two Big Boards
 
Hello,

we have about 800 000 postings on our forums and are about to assimilate another big board with about 500 000 postings, which is a phpBB.

Will this be possible using ImpEx.

How would that be done?

Yes that is possible using ImpEx. Size of the boards doesn't make any big difference.

Se the ImpEx manual on how to use it.

Ok, mayber someone here already has some experience.

Will that reset my former thread-/postids or just that of the new added posts?

Hi Thomas ,

Your old thread id's shall remain same and the imported threads shall receive new thread id's
