Importing data from YAF
Hello,
I've got a new vBulletin installation on Linux and I want to somehow get at least the POSTS from an old Windows YAF (yet another forum on a DNN - dotnetnuke) site on a server across the country. I have enough programming experience to come up with some sort of script, but I am wondering if you guys have any recommendations? I basically just want to create an archive of the old posts. Also, I need to import a bunch of user data and add these users to certain usergroups (about 3 thousand users). Is there anyone you can recommend that I could contract out to help get this job done? |
You could use ImpEx as a basis for this and use 1 of the importers (the one that comes closest to your source system) to create a custom importer for your YAF board.
