How do I display thread on non-vb

I'm looking for a code example of how to retrieve/display a post outside of VB by supplying a thread id. looked for articles, couldn't find anything.

Do a search on "thread*" in the Articles forum, Titles Only. One or the articles that comes up is this one: Create "Latest Threads" Custom Page
