Hi there :),

How can I display all the forum categories (linking the the appropriate category) in a list in a template? Obviously accounting permisisons.

You mean like a Site Map? Do a search for "site map" in "All Mods" "Titles Only" and you will get several threads including mods for site maps.

No, I want to display the categories on other areas of the site not just forumhome :).

You mean you just want to make a list of the categories, right? Well, I would grab the code from the site map mod. Put the code that creates the list into a plugin for the page you want to use it on and then modify the template on the page to spit out the list.

If that is not what you are wanting, then I'm afraid I am not understanding your request.
