Prevent Thread Bumping Modification Needed

I need a modification which will work like that:
I set number of days until a thread will expire,
if there wont be any new replies to the thread within the number of days I set then the thread is expired.
if someone will try to reply to the thread then he will receive an error message saying: "the thread is expired and you are not authorized to post here".
And it doesn't matter if its the thread starter or anyone else, only if I exclude the usergroups then they will be able to reply.

Is there any modification like what I mentioned? I saw it working on an other forum and I dont think it a private modfication, I think I just didnt find it yet.

thanks in advance.

*edit*
I found exactly what I searched:
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=82827

but where is the download link? and how can I get it working with vb 3.6.8

Your subject line doesn't really match what you seem to be asking for.

There are a couple mods that will automatically close threads. I use https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=130738 .

well sorry for posting in the wrong forum, if its possible please any moderator move it to the correct forum.
Videx I dont want that modification since I dont want it to physically lock the thread, I want that everything will stay as is but if a thread is passed X days from its last reply then he will receive an error message telling him: "thread expired".

The mod you found wouldn't do what you say you want either, since it will close the threads also. And it doesn't say it would tell people the thread is 'expired' - it says users would get an unspecified error message.

Sorry, the one I mentioned is the only one I know about and I know it doesn't give any special message; a closed thread is just a closed thread.
