Same IP detection hack?

Hi,

I'm looking for a hack that can search for users that have different login but same IP in order to prevent some users to register with a new account login whereas they are banned etc.

Edit: the only i found is for 3.5 and i'm using 3.6.8PL2

Most modifications coded for 3.5 will work in 3.6.
