Limit Posts/Thread per Page for a Specific Style
 

This product will allow you to set the maximum number of threads and posts to be displayed per page for a specific style.

It was written as an addon for someone who wanted to display only 5 or so posts per page for a style designed for mobile devices

Just for kicks, I tried this in vBulletin 3.6 (since that's what my forum is still running.)

"Maximum Threads" and "Maximum Search Results" seems to work fine... but "Maximum Posts" did not. Would this be an easy fix, or should I file this as yet another reason to bite the bullet... and find the week of free time to upgrade my complex forum to 3.7?

Should be very easy if one knows what the variable name is, or at what point it's being set. I no longer have a running 3.6

I'd be happy to grant you admin access to my 3.6.x forum if you wouldn't mind checking it out. That would be very helpful to me.

The earliest I'd be able to upgrade to 3.7 is December. :(

That won;t help as I need to put in debug mode which I don't want to do to a live site. I'll set up a test 3.6 site soon and have a look

Is it possible to also limit the number of private messages that display as well?
