last post on forumhome not updating
 

What would cause the "last post" on the forumhome page to not update?

When a post is posted in any forum, it doesn't update to say "last post by ...." on the homepage. :s I've tried updating counters and everything and that doesn't help.

I don't see any option that would cause it to not update.

Have you tried disabling your modifications and seeing if it updates? Does it update at all? Or are the posts all stuck as being from x days ago?

i think it may be because of some xcache mods i got from here and when i uninstalled the mods it has caused a problem but i haven't a clue what to look for

I see that many of the forums are Private. Are the updates just not happening with those forums perhaps? I checked the forums that aren't marked Private and it looks like the last post is correct for those forums.

it seems it is now updating, i upgraded to 3.7 and changed a couple of things and got it working, it was panic stations for a while but all is now calm :)
