Downloading Mods?
 

Is there any odds of getting viruses from downloading mods etc... such as trojans (keylogger)???

Edit: I feel they are safe, I was just curious and I will report any if I think that are deemed to be unsafe.

Well, most mods that are released here are safe. However, as it is third party code, and not reviewed by the vBulletin team -- then it can cause problems and allow hackers to take over your board. However, this is only normally the case when the code is poorly written. It's safe to say, most mods here are safe.

I have never ran across any on this site so I would say you are safe here. Through I would research the mod before just throwing it onto your site.

If the mod has great user responce then I would say your safe :)

THANKS :), I thought they are safe and still do but just curious to find out as I thought as they never get reviewed, I should be careful :) and go with what I think are safe.
