Is it possible to ban Google Tools or other hosted software?
The privacy laws and some other laws in Canada hold the operator/owner/holder of information responsible for protecting privacy. Google Tools and other hosted software are already banned by some sites in Canada and I was wondering if there is a way to ban Google Tools and other hosted software in vBulletin or htaccess from accessing, gathering, storing, etcetera, content on a site? I've looked on the net for ways to do this but haven't found anything relating to banning or barring such tools or hosted software.
I've a notice in my forum rules about Google Tools and other hosted software but does anyone know how to ban such things using vbulletin or htaccess or some other method? |
