IE not showing images, but Firefox does.
Hi folks,
I've noticed something pretty strange. If I go to a user's profile in 3.7 using IE 7, I cannot see their uploaded image. However if I go to the same page using Firefox 2, I can. The profile page's image is produced by image.php, so the <IMG> tag's URL does not end w/an image extension. Anybody know if this is caused by a browser setting? And if so how I might override that using HTML or Javascript? Thanks. |
Clear the browser cache and try again.

I just tried that and it's still not working for me. Here's a sample URL:

Which image are we talking about? Because I seem to see all images fine on that page when viewing with IE 7.

It's the top left image of a cloud, to the left of the username.
I've attached a screen shot of what it looks like in FF. |
I don't see any image next to the username, in FF or IE.

Here are two screen shots, one from FF, one from IE7.

Here's the URL from the IMG tag that works in FF but not in IE7:

I get a blank screen (with the output being a blank GIF image of 1x1 pixels). Maybe because I'm not registered?

Yep, that was it. You have to be logged in to view that. Thanks.
