VB 6 Prune PM's

For the love of Jesus and everything that is holy and not would somebody come up with something to auto prune pm's based on age or user inactivity or something. Please.

theoretically, you could write a cron job to do this.

There is this mod: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...ighlight=prune It looks like you need to update the counters afterwards. I didn't read the whole thread to see if someone else came up with a work around to the PM count issue.

What would be the reason to do such a thing?

do you want to be able to mass prune your own PM's, or do you want to clean up the pm's of your members?

If you are going to prune all members PMs, please, please, PLEASE let your users know! I am a member of another forum where they prune all PMs that are older than 30 days. Problem is, they never bothered to tell their users and this caused all sorts of major problems!

Members. It takes up table space and they are from members that are inactive.
