Before buying, can Vbulletin....

Been advised by Wayne Luke to post here rather than at vbulletin.com.

I'm looking for the following functionality either as default or plugins.

Wiki integration - is nuwiki the ONLY option for this?

Rating posts - can this be done for each post rather than just thread? Similar to the thanks but to rate good or bad ideas

Voting/balloting system - I need a system where users can be requested to vote by admins, and their votes be counted as in accept, reject, abstain. I'd rather have this as a locked, results only topic and avoid having to set up poll options for every ballot held.

Many Thanks.

As far as I know, NuWiki is the only option for wiki integration.

As far as the rating of posts, I do not know of a hack posted here, but a quick search yielded nothing.

And please explain the "voting/balloting system" a little more than you have. It seems rather vague.

Thank you for your reply.
The idea is that it would be similar to a poll, but where users could only vote, not comment.

The options would just be like a vote, with only 3 options which would always be the same, no matter what it voted on. These being yes, no, abstain.

If possible I'd like to force people to vote (similar to one hack/mod I saw which forced visitors to read a page when logging in).

Many thanks.

With some simple coding, I believe the vBulletin classes could be manipulated to obtain this. It could allow you to create a thread, add a poll to the thread, and lock the thread (and hopefully still allow voting). This would be done through plugins and/or straight files. With some more work, I am sure you can work the data so that you check to see if a user voted or not.

But I do not believe there is a hack available for that.

Voting on a poll in a closed thread is possible with some minor modification, we do the same here on vBulletin.org with our BOTM Voting poll: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=172475

Many thanks Marco. That's just what I'm after.
