post quickreply error

Hi,

About 50% of all my posts with Quickreply fails with this error:

"The following errors occurred when this message was submitted:"
..and then nothing more about the specific error.

When I then go to the forumthread again my post IS threre, so there was really no problem posting.
You would probably think I was doubleclicking the Post-button, but that would rather give me another error stating "A post with this content already exist"

It seems to me that this can relate to serverside pagecache parameters, as I have made this error myself by accident serveral times while building webapplications for my clients..

Some of the other errors I have seen reported is also typically based on this type of issue, e.g. some pictures not showing in the posts for some users...

So, are there any cache options (that I can't find) in the admin-config to tweak for this type of error?

Doubt this is causing by a caching problem.

To troubleshoot this, please remove any hacks and disable your plugins, then see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

If so, reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server.

If your problem still exists, please create a new Style with no Parent set. Now browse the forum using this new style, do you still have the same problems? If you are troubleshooting login or guest issues, you will need to set this style as board default in the vBulletin Options.
