popup notification problem
 

I have activated(put it to Yes) the private message pop up option from the VBulletin default registration options.But even then when i add a new user or even view an existing user's profile the radio option 'Send Notification Email When a Private Message is Received' always displays a 'No' even if it is activated and saved again.

Do you have vboptions > Private Messaging Options > Instant Messaging Support - Check for New Private Messages set to Yes?

yes i have set it to 'Yes' but still no change.it remains the same....

it has become very urgent for us to enable the popup up notifications.....

Nw we hav tried evrything possible to make it work....it works on one site (developement)
while does not on the othr(production)....

Pop up a Notification Box When a Private Message is Received remains on a NO evn if u change it for ny user and for new user's also....
Yes i have tried evry setting from the admin panel also....
i hav checked the checkbox on the default reg options for User Red.

Evn chkd all setting for updates and checked for the style / plugin changes but to no avail.
