Linkshare and multiple forums
Hello,
We are expanding one of our big board to another countries and here are the questions. All forums must share the same userbase, that is, if you are already registered at forum #1, you should be able to login at forum #45 even if you never visited it before. Should we host all forums in one DB or should we host them separatelly on their own DB's? If we host them separatelly, we will create something like a linkshare server, were all accounts are rsync to a master login server. Any of you did this in the past? Any of you have any ideas, suggestions or anything I should know? If you are a coder, I would really love to hear your comments and suggestions to this idea. Thanks, Jack |
You are one of 1 million people looking for this type of integration. I only see about 2 mods that have come close to diong 10% of what you want to do.

Is such a feature against the vbulletin license?
|
it is not...each forum would require an individual license....
