Several Questions for the GURUs

Hello,
I've got a new vBulletin installation and I have a few questions.

Most IMPORTANT:
1) I've downloaded the YAF importer, but I am trying to import to a Linux install of vBulletin FROM a Windows 2003 install of DNN (DotNet Nuke) with YAF (yet another forum). The Win2003 machine is halfway across the country. Is this possible? What will the basic steps be?

Not QUITE as IMPORTANT:
2) I've got categories and then sub-categoris and then forums such as:

General Discussion - New York
General Discussion
Sub Forums: News, Marketplace, etc, etc

They all end up in table rows that are the same color. Can I either get the subforums to display as regular forums (not just links), or at least set up some type of alternating color scheme?

Pretty IMPORTANT:

3) I need to assign admins to particular forums but I have not figured out how to do this yet. I need the admin to be able to delete posts, edit attachments, etc, but ONLY for specific forums. What is the basic procedure on this?

1. I'm not familar with YAF, but backup your YAF database, and put it on your linux machine. The servers location really have no bearing on anything.

2. vBulletin colors alternate already between alt1 and alt2. They maynot alternate how you want them to, but simple template edits can fix that.

3. You need moderators for particular forums, not admins. Moderators can delete, edit etc in the forums you assign them, and only use the moderator functions you give them permission to.

The problem is that the YAF forum is a MSSQL database. Is there any way to convert it to MySQL?

The easiest way would be to install vBulletin on the old server, upload ImpEx and perform the import, then backup the database and move it to the new server.
