Default usergroups on registration
 

Hi all,

Im trying to figure out how to assign a user to several usergroups at registration.

I would like them to be in all of the public user groups (there are 4 of them) by default...

Could anybody suggest a method for this. I have looked in the docs but cant find anything. Unless im going blind (likely)

You will need to hook into the addmember process and set secondary usergroups through datamanager calls.

Do a search, there is info out there about this.

Why do you need 4 usergroups if everyone is member of all of them?

You can do a promotion, valid for every registered user.
