MySQL 4.1 or 5.0
I have mySQL 4.1 right now; would there be a reason to switch to 5.0 ?
Thanks |
Not unless you wanted to for some reason.
I don't believe you'll have any issues with vBulletin, but there could possibly be plugin issues if you are really unlucky |
the only thing I noticed was Goldbrick's mod for video urls will not work with 4.1
|
Well, nothing should go wrong with going to MySQL 5.0, and you'll probably benefit somewhat from upgrading.
|
is there an easy way to do this
my database is 83MB and godaddy will only let me import 2mb at a time into a new database |
If you're already on 4.1, there's really no need to go to 5.0. I was referring to new installations.
