Change to NO image verification for Guests and the name "Unregistered" to other name.
 

Hi I need to do this modification. Remove the image verification in posting and change the name under wich the post form "Unregistered" to whatever I want.

To not show the image: vboptions > Registration Options > Image Verification > No.

I'm not sure about the Unregistered cuz mine doesn't look like that. But, I'd guess it is in the template "register"

But that will remove the image verification from the Registration, and that would be a desaster! I just want to remove it from the posting. That screencap was taken from a guest trying to post in a specific forum where this is allowed.

Ahhh! So sorry, I thought that was the Registration page since I don't use image verification for users (I don't allow guests to post).

vboptions > Human Verification Options > Verify Guest Posts

Ok that is done, now I would apreciate if someone tells me how to change the name form Unregistered to Whatever

I think you need to go to vboptions > General Settings and turn on the option to put the Template Name in the html/source code. Then go to the page and view the source and it should say something like "<!-- BEGIN TEMPLATE: template_name -->" right above the Unregistered stuff and then you will know what template to edit. Since I don't have this option on, I can't find it for you.

I take it that this (vboptions > Human Verification Options > Verify Guest Posts) is for 3.6 or 3.7. Do you know an option or a mod for 3.5?

Human Verification Options only shows in 3.7+. I believe the option in the the usual vBulletin Options section for 3.5/3.6.
