Modifying a custom profile field with a script
Our site uses an integration script between vB and WordPress MU that allows members to register for a WordPress blog after 50 posts and such. I'd like to be able to put each member's blog URL in a custom profile field so the blog can be advertised in their profile and on each post, but I don't know what the "proper" way of modifying custom profile fields from a script is. Is there a vB built-in function that will set a profile field, or will I have to do an SQL query directly and change the userfield table?
