Shawn, you really need to give a more descriptive title.

1. I don't use one, but I think vbadvanced is free (I think they also have a paid version)

2. You use User Ranks. You set up a rank where all users in the Administrator usergroup (or Moderator) with over 0 posts have a title "Shawn's Staff" or whatever.

3. I don't know what you mean. Do you mean the Visitor Messages?

You would simply upgrade to 3.7 to get visitor messages. It is not available in versions below 3.7.0.

How hard is Joomla to integreate to vb 3.7?

No, not yet.

It shouldn't be too hard. I believe there was a bridge made between the two, not too sure. I may be installing Joomla soon, then I'll be building a bridge between the two, especially for my custom coded news page. But, I would probably wait for the GOLD release of 3.7, before attempting to integrate Joomla with vB 3.7.
