Is this a mod or function i've overlooked?

Hello all, im currently working on a website, which is a VBulletin forum, now i've setup and played with VB before but i've never really modded it.

Im basically looking for a mainpage addition (or function) so I can make posts onto an announcements homepage, some examples are -

www.hexus.net

www.dtguilds.com

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated,

<a href="http://www.vbadvanced.com" target="_blank">http://www.vbadvanced.com</a> is a very simple solution. In fact it's the one used by the guild you linked. They're latest version is compatible with 3.6.8 PL2 and 3.7.x
