New Events Since Last Visit
 

I'm just wondering how easy it might be to give a highlighting to events that have been created since the users last visit. Ideally this would result in two things

1) On Calendars/Event Listings, new events would be bolded (or whatever markup) or highlighted in a similar fashion to unread threads.

2) Something in the navbar (or the welcome block in vba) that says 'There have been x new events posted since your last visit)

For reference, I use 3.6.8 PL2, Farcaster's Event Attendance 2.0, Event Forums and vbadvanced. The set up works fine, but it would be nice to highlight new events other than the threads themselves.

I think this would be a very useful addition to the Calendar system, but I don't really know where to start, or if anyone else would be interested.

Oh well. Mah users will just have to lump it.

Bumping this :) I still need it and have no idea where to start. It would basically be the same as 'unread thread' mark up, but for an event that has been added.
