Is this mod available? if not, great idea for coders...
 

After suggestions from countless members, I am looking for a mod that will allow;

Admin/Moderators to post a thread will poll like options, but instead of voting, members give marks out of 10.

Would be fantastic for my website as its a football/soccer forum and members could rate out of 10 how they think the players performed.

Currently, all we have is a polling system for the best player of each match.

Would be fantastic if someone could tell me if its already possible or if not, begin work on it because i'd assume a lot of vbulletin users would use it.

Do you mean like what is at the top of all the Mods threads?

No Lynne because that rating system rates a thread/mod, which wouldn't allow members to rate specific players out of 10. Would need multiple options to rate.

But couldn't you modify it to be about a player? You are talking about one 'poll' per thread, right? So, can't you have the thread about the player and thus the poll at the top to be about rating the player instead of the thread? I would think you could modify that hack to have 10 rating options instead of 5 and then it would be like what you are asking about, no?

Or, are you asking to have like a list of players with a 1-10 next to each name and this whole list with rating options would be at the top of the thread?

Basically in one thread, I would like multiple options. Just like when you can create a poll with so many options.

And from the options, it would be great if you could fill in a number one to 10 for each of the options available.

So picture vBookie as an example, but instead of bets you would have players names, and instead of entering how much vCash you would bet you would be giving a rating out of 10.

Ah, OK, I think it is like what I wrote in my second paragraph.

etc

All at the top of the thread. Right? It's almost like having several polls in one thread, only the poll options are pre-determined to be ratings from 1-10.

If it is on individual players you could achieve this by...

Posting an individual thread for each, putting "Rate Person 1" as the question, and 1-10 as the options.

Good solution but it would clutter forums and take a while to do :(

May have to do just that though so thanks.
