Im looking to make my own stickers for my forum.

I have some questions, hopefully someone can help!

1. Can I print vinyl myself? Or do I need a special printer etc?
2. When Printed, You can get it where you don't apply letter by letter correct?
3. If i can't print it myself, Anyone know of a good online store maybe?

your regular inkjet printer will not do, the vynil need to be injected by heat ...

you may not find any print shop online, but i would suggest you check the yellow pages...

I've never heard of heat injection.

You do need a special printer, it's called a plotter.

It's basically a printer with a razor blade on the end that cuts your design to spec, then you peel away the outer area. You'll need to outsource it.

nah, not heat injection, a plotter have a mechanism to head the ink and inject it on the surface, depending, like ink-jet or laser... this is one of the various techniques used... not the only one btw.

Maybe im better off buying them premade on a big sheet and cut them out my self...

What are you looking to have made? I get 10" x 1" (or thereabouts) stickers for my site made up, and they run me about 3-4 bucks apiece.

Those will be cheap, basically the same thing I do. Tearstone can do them in bulk, and this guy will do one-offs:
