I'm having trouble with the RSS posting duplicate posts.

Is there a way around that?

Same problem here. I got a triplicate post just a few hours ago on two threads. I've been presuming it had something to do with the feed itself.

Is there a mod that deletes double posts in a forum automatically?

Can anyone help us with this?

It's supposed to be due to a plug-in I currently have installed.

If you're getting the same problem, can you pm me a list of mods you have installed on your forum so I can narrow down the suspects?

does anyone know what hook location this problem-causing plug-in could be using? Anything else that may help narrow it down?

It's really becoming an issue and I can't seem to figure it out on my own.

What RSS feed settings do you currently have? As this only just started happening?

i have the standard RSS settings. I have not altered them. It was working fine when I first began the RSS Feeds.

I've installed quite a few mods since without bothering to check the Feeds. So, obviously it is being caused by a plug in. To verify, I turned off my plug-in system and sure enough, problem was fixed.

Unfortunately, I have many plug-ins and testing them one by one would be very tedious. I'm just trying to avoid that. Hopefully I can find an alternative way to finding which one is causing the issue.

I'm sorry, but that is the only way. Keep at it and it shouldn't take you to long :)

People just think hacks are toys, they are only to be used wisely -- no more than 10 IMO.

that's a new one.

That's what many people misinterpret them as. They just go crazy installing them, which causes problems.

You might want to go read the last few pages of the modification threads for the ones you installed and see if something about this issue is discussed.

You might want to post your list of hacks here and then maybe someone else trying to fix this issue will come across the list and realize they have a couple of the same ones and that will help you narrow the problem down.
