Navbar in header won't reset on logout
 

With the skin I have currently (I got from Minerskinz) has the navbar in the header template. It has template conditionals in there with the intent to display certain links based on if the user is logged in or not. It seems ok until the user logs out, and the message comes up that cookies are cleared, the navbar doesn't reset meaning that the "logout" link is still displayed and does not go back to showing the Register link.

Any ideas how this can be fixed?

Would refreshing the page fix the problem? you could make them logout to a different page or add a page refresh after logout..

Its best that you address this issue with the coder that designed the custom skin, they should provide support for the skin if it has issues.

But you can check the default template with the login/out code and compare it to yours and make sure its correct.

Thank you for the suggestions - I fixed it lastnight by moving the navbar code to the navbar template. In this skin it was in the header template. Probably not the way to go in order to keep the "look and feel" of the skin but it works for me. :up:
