How do you deal with a racist nazi troll ?

Yeah..
I have a troll on my forum that keeps posting racist nazi spam.
He gets a kick out of trying to tear apart our community.
We do an IP ban onhim every time but he is using a proxy service of some sort, so he is constantly signing up and causing trouble..
We brought on a couple of mods but he is persistant..

Any ideas?

Not yet.
So far we have a global ban on him as well as misery ban...

You could also create a new usergroup that is a copy of the Registered Users called Approved Users (also copy all forum permissions). Then, change the Registered Usergroup to be Moderated. You can set a promotion such that after a user has X posts, they get moved to the Approved Usergroup. Then, when the user signs up again, all his posts must be approved. This will get frustrating to him after a while since no one will see his posts. (You will probably also want to change the Registered usergroup to not be able to use the PM system.)
