I need some computer help! BAD!

Ok I built my own computer here are my specs

MotherBoard: Intel D975XBX2
OS: Windows Vista 64 Bit
Ram: 4 Gigs
Processor Intel Q6600

Now normally just running and browsing I get these temps:

But when I render something or load a game it goes into the red.....

What is causing this, Is this normal? I just had my processor replaced because it blew up.....My motherboard is running the latest bios.

Do I need liquid cooling? Or something?

Improve your cooling, did you put thermal compound to use?

The heatsink already had the compound on it.

I don't think my 80mm fans are cooling it at all. Should I go with liquid CPU cooling?

yea you could try to upgrade your cooling, open your case and put a small fan on it and see if that helps in the mean time :D

You shouldn't need to go liquid. Liquid is expensive, and the majority of people can go on just fine without it. So can you.

Upgrade the heatsink for your processor.

If (more than likely) your video card has a heatsink/fan, make sure the fan is functioning.

Put heat sinks on your memory chips.

You may also need a new case, perhaps the one you have now doesn't allow good air-flow.

What does that heatsink do better then others? Also how the the chilling thing work? Do I need liquid stuff for it or just buy and put in?

Stock heatsinks are good for regular use. Once you start using your computer for high end gaming, over clocking, etc. you'll want to take the steps necessary to prevent your machine from getting too hot.. replacing a stock heatsink has been nothing but significantly lower the temperature for me.

When purchasing a third party heatsink, you will more than likely need to buy a tube of coolant paste, and apply it manually.

Also, I mentioned changing your case:

That bad boy dropped my temperature about 25 - 30 degrees itself.. all has to do with the placement of your hardware and the air-flow. I haven't needed any sort of special cooling heatsinks with this case to date.
