ََQuestion: PM for members prohibited from using messages

i have group called "new members", This group is not authorized to use PM
The Admin can write to this group through PM,
and they read the letter through the reporting via email .

The problem is that when the supervisors or observers try to write to one of the members of this group they got the following message:
"This member chose not to receive PM "

Is this characteristic can be granted (send message to members of this group) for supervisors and observers as it is for Admin

If the group is not authorized to use the PM system, then they can't receive any PMs from users either *except* there is an option for usergroups (like Admins) to bypass that and so Admins can always send PMs to these users It is the Ignore Quota option in the usergroup manager.

under vBulletin Options -> User Registration Options Scroll down to "Default Registration Options"

and make sure "Can recieve private messages is checked"

Then if you want to enable private messages for the member, go to their edit member page in the adminCP and under Browsing options make sure Receive Private Messages is set to yes

hi guys

sorry for this misunderstand

i choose to banned this group from using PM

but in the same time i (as admin)can send PM to them, and they can read it as i said through the reporting via email (not in the forum)
i want also the moderator doing like me (like admin)

but the problem is when they try to send message to any member in this group
the moderator got that message
"member chosen to not receive any message"

i hope u understand me clear now

thank u

Like Lynne said, only Admins are allowed to do that. I don't think there is any way to do what you want in default vb.
