Multiple MySQL Servers
 
Hi,

I'm with servage and have so far not noticed any problems. Just for the stability of the forum, would it help if I had a slave database?

How would I edit the config file to add the slave databases, after that, how do I populate the tables in the slave database?

That's a really tricky question. I would just stick with a host that is reliable and has daily backups.

If its a managed dedicated server then I think you should leave it to them.
