Can someone help me with this error?
Hi,
I upgraded my forum from 3.6.4 to 3.6.8 just now and now one of the panels in the admin panel looks like this: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2008/02/6.jpg  I have re-uploaded the files but no effect.:erm: Does anyone have a clue what could be causing this? thanks aku |
Are you uploading the /images directory in binary mode and all non-images files in ASCII?
Regards Jason :) |
Check the file ownership permissions & chmod settings on you xml dir for your xml plugin files.
@jase - Those are not images just a fyi. |
I'm using filezilla and the file transfer mode is set to "auto" so I think its picking it by itself.
On a side note, up to now it has never had problems with the transfer type. So I dont know if that could be the problem. Any thoughts? |
Yes, verify what i posted in the previous post.
File xfer mode has nothing to do with whether or not its setting permissions correctly on files. |

ah ok found it - the permission has been set to 777 now but still no progress
|
Did you check the other part of my post as well?
None of those files should be set to 777. |
i think im gona go into the plugins screen and try disabling them 1 by one to see if its one of them giving me the problem
ps: what permission should be on the xml files? --------------- Added [DATE]1204032394[/DATE] at [TIME]1204032394[/TIME] --------------- oh the ownership on files belongs to me |
