Using Template Hooks - How to?
I was looking through the Downloads II mod and it suggested adding a line to the Postbit template to show the downloads information for that member. It required inserting $dmemberinfo into the template right after the post count variable.
I noticed that there is a template hook in the same spot: $template_hook[postbit_userinfo_right_after_posts] My question is how do I edit a hook? I do I place the $dmemberinfo into the hook so that it shows up in that location? I tried searching templates for someplace to edit a hook but a hook is not a template I guess. :) I know this must be a newbie question but I searched high and low and I honestly couldn't find a single topic that would tell me how to edit the contents of an existing hook. Maybe "Hook Manager" or "Hook Editor" is too easy eh? :) |
Template hooks differ from plugin hooks. You need to add data to those template hooks in a plugin at postbit_display_complete.
