This score was not submitted from the game. Your score will not be saved.
My members and myself get this message on dozens of games. Its rather annoying and hopefully there is a way to override this problem.
"This score was not submitted from the game. Your score will not be saved." I cannot duplicate exactly *when* it happens, but it seems it happens when you beat the high score perhaps more than once per day. I could be wrong, but either way I'd like to override this. I'm not using any portal at all. My site is Talk Jesus Forums / www.talkjesus.com |
help also please... I can't stay only with 8 games in my board.
|
Here are the general guidelines i use to prevent this error 99% of the time on my board.
1. increase your session timeouts in vbulletin settings (around 30 mins is good unless a game takes longer to play) 2. make sure holdsession.php is uploaded and in the right place. 3. inform your members to use the remember me box when they log in 4. inform your members not to use the refresh or back buttons in their browser to start a new game. 5. inform your members to only play 1 game at a time i used to get nothing but complaints of the same error, but since following these guidelines the error has all but disappeared. |
Being honest when I was using shared hosting this happened quite a lot when the server load went up. Tried a lot of things to fix it but once I went dedicated it has stopped. It may just be something you have to live with until you get a better server.

I have found the 'remember me' was the reason.
|
My session limit is up to "9000" which im sure 150 minutes is long enough yet i still get this error, and my forum isn't exactly active!!
|
i have the problem
This score was not submitted from the game. Your score will not be saved. I followed all steps doesn't work Any help ?? |
Me too :(
|
yeah me too. Remember me is checked. I am on a dedicated server with low server load. The game only went for 160 seconds. not long enough to be a problem either way. And I get This score was not submitted from the game. Your score will not be saved.
Why? My members are starting to wish I was on v3arcade still :/ |
I tried to sign up for an account at your website to make sure - but not only do you require email validation but also manual account verification - didn't want to wait to confirm.
But if you are using vbSEO - make sure you have it disabled in your arcade. We found that having rewrite rules in the arcade would mess with the arcade scores system. Just a suggestion! - Compu |
