Rotating Signature Pictures on front page

I'd like to rotate signature pictures, or another set of pictures, on the front page of VB. Searching finds nothing along these lines, except 'rotating banners'. I need help, mostly someone to do most of it, in creating such a patch.

Doing a search finds nothing along those lines for VB.
