Have signatures show up only once a THREAD?

I've seen a couple of template mods to make member's signatures show up only once per PAGE, but I'm looking for something slightly different...

Does anyone know the template edits needed to make our member's signatures show up only once per entire THREAD instead of once per thread PAGE? Is that even possible?
