Creating sub forums
 

How do you create sub forums and have them show up under the forum description like they have here?

When adding a forum, select a Parent Forum for the sub-forum and go to vB Options -> Forum Listings Display Options and set the depth options. Click the question marks you see in the ACP near the depth options for examples of how the options work.

why do i get this message across the top of forum?

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting ')' in /home/myurb3/public_html/includes/functions_forumlist.php(457) : eval()'d code(6) : eval()'d code on line 1

I would guess one of these reasons.

1. template edits - revert all templates related tp forum display
2. installed hack - disable all hacks and see if it goes away, re-enable one by one until it happens again.
3. modified php files - restore all default php files for vbulletin

Backup everything before doing any of that.
