I have had complaints from users who have had threads mysteriously disappear...

I would love to be able to look at a log that detailed what threads a moderator has deleted, and possibly other actions he's taken (moved threads, deleted posts, etc.)

Any thoughts?

That is a great idea, wouldn't be tough if you don't mind creating more tables since there is nothing like this built in. The logging part would be easy (postings.php where the move/close/delete functions are), making a fancy display system would take the longest.

Ahhh, thanks for the tip on postings.php. I don't really care about a fancy display system - I think I'll try making some modifications to postings.php - maybe just write the output to a file instead of using the database?

This will be released .... soon as I get a little more feedback on how it could be improved.

There are tons of things you could do with this once you start logging the data. You could make a button to "follow" a thread to see if it was closed, then opened, and where it was moved to. You could also make the mod name's clickable which would go to another screen and show you all of the actions that the mod has done.

Also there is a variable built in to limit how many actions to show.. will better incorporate this before release.

The other above ideas probably won't happen on first version but the code is very clean and anyone can add them in if they want.

hmmm.. Damn I like the idea of the "what has this mod done" feature and I might put that in the first time.
