Help: Setting Up RSS Feed
 

I'm very new to vbulletin and it's many options. I have created a rss feed and it's displaying okay, but here's my ideal scenario in hopes that someone can suggest the settings i need in order to accomplish this.

I want to set up the feed so that it posts in forum A, and limit the 'Maximum Items to Fetch' at 10. The 'Check Feed Every...' feature is set for 10 mins. Here's where I think my dilema will come into play. I want to restrict the max number of posted articles within the forum from this particular feed to 10 at any given time. So if it finds new articles, i would prefer it to overwrite any older articles... i just don't want this forum to contain 10 articles/threads on Monday, then check on Tuesday and there's several hundred.

I hope i didn't make this too confusing.

It will not 'overwrite' the threads. It will make new ones. I think you may want to search/create some sort of auto-prune modification to use in that forum. Someone else already posted about setting up an RSS feed to post in a forum and coming back to several hundred (or was it thousand?) threads that he then had to prune.
