Increased num of bot / spam registrations?
 

I'm not sure how they're doing it, but I've had quite the increase in "bot" / spam accounts being created on my 3.6.8pl2 board. I have both e-mail and image verification turned on in the registration process.

Just thought i'd bring this to vB's attention in case the image verification they use has been compromised.

Image and email verification does little if anything to stop them from registering, there are several mods available that stops them cold, there are also some new things in 3.7 that stops them also

could you highlight these mods for me so i can install them while i wait for 3.7 full release? i've had literally a half-dozen in the past week.

Do a search in this forum as this topic is brought up all the time. I love my Is Bot. I hardly have any spam registrations any longer.
