Small Bit of Help with Joomla Slideshow

I have the Joomla Frontpage Slideshow set up on my VB Advanced CMPS page. The slideshow shows up but it isn't linking properly.

Ex. The link for the news stories shows as /showthread.php whereas it needs to link as /forums/showthread.php.

Can anyone help? I'd be appreciative.
