Tachy a post?
 
Just putting this idea out there.

You can tachy a user, how about tachying a post?

There are times when a controversial thread has (finally) run it's course, and then some bloody user comes a long after the fact and starts it up again!!

Rather than delete their post (and possibly start up another controversy) it would be great if a mod could simply hide the post so that no one but the user who posted it can see it..

Because sometimes it's for the best that a thread just quietly disappears without the author being aware.
