secure login through https
 

Hello,

How can I make sure passwords are sent using https when loggin in to the forum?
I don't want to use ssh for the whole forum, just the login process.

really no one? This seems like something a lot of people would want...

You should either run your entire board using https OR http. Mixing them is not as easy.

And wouldn't be possible to set the action for the autentication form to the https, and then, when validated redirect to the http?

Perhaps it will be some problem with the cookies, but I think that it wouldn't be difficult to solve...

We need it because we perform the authentication via LDAP, so the password isn't encoded before to be sent...
