Problem with spelcheck favelets and vB 3.6.8
 

Hi!

I posted a ticket with vB support and was redirected to post here instead in hope of support.

I am running a vB board version 3.6.8 level 2, which is the last stable release as I understand.

Some of our users are using spellcheck favelets such as www.spellingcow.com and www.jacuba.com to check their spelling on our boards. Unfortunately, those favelets do not work on vB 3.6.8 (nor do they work here, on 3.7 beta). They DO work on earlier versions of vB.

Anyone have any ideas? Unfortunately the offical vB support only repeats the same line over and over "We do not support third party code" (yes, I'm somewhat disappointed in that as a paying user :down:) so I'm not even sure where to start looking for a possible fix. If only one favelet was affected I'd be looking for a solution there but two completely independent solutions are not working (and they used to work with earlier versions), so I'm inclined to think that it's something that vB does or doesn't do. Like a JS or AJAX conflict somewhere. HELP!
