vb.org Archive - integrated authentication

Hello all.

My website http://www.WikiJob.co.uk uses a mix of applications, each with their own login. This includes vbulletin, mediawiki and some bespoke software in the pipeline.

We're going to continue using the mixed software because this is easiest and the site is growing rapidly, however I would like to find an integrated signup/login solution for the whole website.

Ideally it would be best to do this without disrupting current users on the forum. For mediawiki it doesn't matter.

I've seen LDAP plugins but I'm not sure if these are relevant/fully understand the concept.

Any help or advice be much appreciated!
