Modifying RSS feed description hrefs
 
Is it possible using the admin panel's RSS Feed Manager body template to modify incoming links in RSS feeds? For example, I have a feed that has a link mysite.com/1/2/3 and I want to change it just mysite.com or vice versa. How can this be done?

I'm looking at rssposter.php and it looks like the change could be made here, but I'm not sure that this is the best way.
