Creating membership records through a customized form
 

Hi,

We would like to create membership records (generate registrations) from our own customized form instead of asking users to go to the vbulletin registration screen.

So users would mention their name, email address, password etc. on a particular section of our website and these details would then be used to generate a membership on our vbulletin forum for those users.

Now which tables (in vbulletin database) are required to be touched and what steps should we take to make this sort of thing possible?

You should not touch any tables directly. Best is to use the DataManagers for this, see the articles section.
